Every once in a while I do a craigslist search for a 2002-2005 Civic SI EP3. I used to own one and i loved it. Stock they produce 160hp. Today I ran the search and this is what i found.

2002 Civic SI "Heavily modified" putting out 440 WHP from the FRONT WHEELS. Im terrified of this vehicle.

it'd probably take all of the smooth powered joy out of it too. I REALLY REALLY enjoyed driving my Dad's EP, enough that I often consider it as a viable family car option. Very spacious back seats.

That's the one thing everybody has to love about the Civic. The aftermarket support for just about every iteration of it is extensive and available enough that incredible feats of unimaginable stupidity are within the reach of all those who buy one.

I personally loved the 1999-2001 Civic Si too along with this Si.
They don't make Civic Sis like they used to.

I know... "Long list of parts" no engine pics and almost no real description. The car is only a couple miles away so i might go check it out and grab some pics of the engine... im curious to see what they did

I couldnt agree more. It makes me so mad that Honda as a whole has given up on the american market. The EP3 we certainly the last good civic si.... and even that was only a fraction of the Type R in europe. I get that they didnt want to take away from RSX type-S sales but then they should have slapped a turbo on the Type-s and brought the Type-r over. Now, honda is a shell of what it once was. The new NSX not really that cool, and they wont bring the new type-r over and there is a rumor of a S1500???? yawn.

which is not at all what you want to happen with a 440whp car hahah imagine if something goes wrong on that thing (inevitable)... imagine how much his shoddy craftsmanship would compound that issue. ugh its ridiculous.
